usually i don't do much event shooting, mainly because i don't get the same connection i do when i work with just people. but this gig seemed like a lot of fun. it was a fundraiser for Windfall, a charitable organization in the GTA. it's an annual event they do and this year the theme was the 1930s. the organizers & volunteers did such a great job. they set up artificial grass so people could play badminton & croquette. there was live music and a silent & live auction. i really wish i was a guest so i could participate more. the community was really supportive too. people from media & television industry showed up. there were so many gorgeous people... again... i wish i was a guest. i think the kind of people who come out to these kind of events are generally fun & out going people. people really came out dressed for the theme, they were not afraid to have fun. so my advice... if any sort of fundraiser comes up for anything... show your support and go... it's gonna be a great time.
